Close the Loop Hackathon — Code of Conduct

Last updated: July 29, 2026

We want Close the Loop to be a welcoming, safe, and productive event for everyone — regardless of experience level, background, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality. This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, organizers, judges, sponsors, mentors, and staff, and covers all event spaces: the venue, online channels (chat, video, email), and any official social or after-event gatherings.

Expected behavior

Unacceptable behavior

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any concern, contact an organizer in person (look for event staff / organizer badges) or email support@a1mobile.com as soon as you can. Reports will be handled discreetly. When reporting in person, an organizer will help you feel safe for the duration of the event. We will respect confidentiality requests to protect anyone reporting an incident.

Consequences

Organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including a warning, removal from the event without refund or prize eligibility, and — where warranted — involving venue security or law enforcement. Organizers have final say in enforcement.

This Code of Conduct is provided under the event Terms & Conditions and may be updated; material changes will be communicated to participants.
