Phone numbers are one of the most universal technologies in business. Almost every company has one, and customers still trust them more than any chat widget, contact form, or support inbox.
Yet they remain one of the least intelligent pieces of infrastructure a business owns. A number rings. Someone answers, or nobody does. That's the entire product, and it hasn't meaningfully changed in decades.
Carriers spent a generation improving coverage and lowering the cost per minute. But the part that matters most, the conversation between a business and its customer, went largely untouched.
We think it should change.
Building an AI-native carrier
a1mobile brings mobile, landline, and AI phone systems together in one AI-native carrier.
Instead of adding a voice agent on top of legacy infrastructure, we're rebuilding the telecom layer so every business number can answer, understand, take action, and follow up across calls and messages, in any language, 24/7.

Starting with businesses
We spent years working in real operations, where a missed call is not a metric on a dashboard. It is a table that stays empty, a job that goes to somebody else, an order that never gets placed.
The same problem exists across every trade that runs on its phone line. Somebody has to stop what they are doing to answer it.
a1mobile gives businesses a line that answers, understands, takes action and follows up, so the person who used to stop and pick up can keep working. We're starting with business landlines. Mobile service, physical SIMs, and eSIMs are next.
The phone number is getting an upgrade
“The phone number is one of the most universal technologies businesses rely on, yet it has barely changed in decades. This round gives us the resources to expand our network, grow our team, redefine what a phone number can do, and bring a1mobile to businesses everywhere. The business phone number is finally getting an upgrade.”
